Mrs. Baldwin and her husband Larry Baldwin purchased Dean Baldwin Painting from its original owner and founders, Dean and Opal Baldwin in 1975. Barbara has been directly involved in spearheading the company to its growth from sales of $140,000 to presently over $12M. From 1975-1998 DBP was operating as an in house vendors at Miami Int'l Airport with a 25-40 man crew, she was responsible for all financial matters, sales, scheduling.

After many months of searching for expansion, Roswell, New Mexico was opened in 1999 headed off by Carl Baldwin, making this the biggest step DBP had undertaken to date, a success and one that made DBP a highly recognized name nationwide, now employing over 200. In 2003 another opportunity presented itself, San Antonio Aerospace, where we decided even though a much smaller operation, to expand to and are still presently providing them with all their painting requirements.

As CEO she is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and strategies for financial management, responsible for strategic leadership of the organization to ensure its future relevance, credibility and viability and has final authority on all decisions on contractual, legal and tax matters of the company.

She takes pride in the growth that has transpired, the great staff that make it successful and the long term client and employee relationships DBP has become famous for. Barbara is also actively involved in the present expansion programs they are working on and is looking forward to future growth.
