On June 14th jetBlue introduced its new standard livery featuring an all-blue design. From colorful tailfin patterns to special liveries, JetBlue has always used custom designs to honor the people, places and partnerships and Dean Baldwin Painting has been fortunate enough to have painted many of those iconic liveries such as the, I love New York, Vets in Blue, BlueManity and others.
Dean Baldwin Painting LP was selected again by jetBlue, to paint the first of their new livery. The first design—for the A321 with Mint aircraft—applies jetBlue’s Mint Leaves pattern on the aircraft’s exterior for the first time, allowing customers and crewmembers to easily identify it in a new way. jetBlue’s all-core aircraft will also receive new livery designs with refreshed patterns and a broader set of accent colors.
“I’m thrilled we were selected and proud of our Macon, GA team for doing such a great job for jetBlue,” said, Barbara Baldwin-McNulty President and CEO of Dean Baldwin painting. The aircraft was striped and repainted to the new livery and kept concealed until the unveiling. This livery remodel is jetBlue’s ‘first-ever complete refresh of its paint design,’ company says.
Director of Heavy Maintenance at jetBlue, Colin Donohoe, shared, “I want to express my gratitude to the team for the successful reveal of our new livery. The aircraft looks fantastic, and the surprise was complete.”
June 21st will mark the second anniversary of the first aircraft arrival at the new facility. It was a B767-300 painted in the Prime Air livery.
