Made in America Spotlight: Bradley Stewart

November 21, 2025

At Dean Baldwin Painting, our strength comes from the people behind every aircraft we paint.

In our Made in America series, we’re proud to highlight team members who represent the dedication, skill, and pride that define American manufacturing. This month, we’re honored to share the story of Bradley Stewart, a 24-year veteran of the United States Air Force, whose service and craftsmanship continue to make a difference every day.

1. What branch of the U.S. military did you serve? How many years did you serve?

Air Force, 24 years.

2. What brought you to work at Dean Baldwin Painting after your military service?

I was drawn to continue serving in a way that supports American aviation and national strength. The company offered good career growth, stability, and a chance to use my skills. Location, schedule, and availability made this job a good fit. I saw a great opportunity to apply my vast military and commercial aircraft experience into the field of aircraft painting. There is always a challenge in learning new things and building work relationships. I wanted to make a difference at Dean Baldwin Painting because they believe in what they do and take great pride in each aircraft project.

3. How does your military background influence your work here?

It shapes my work ethic, discipline, and pride in contributing to aviation. Some skills and experiences carry over, but my civilian role is different. Military skills teach observing, evaluating, planning, organization, and implementing ideas and tasks. I enjoy learning, sharing, and teaching new ideas for continuous improvement.

4. What does it mean to you personally that Dean Baldwin Painting is a “Made in America” company?

It gives me pride to know we support American jobs, communities, and industry. Great pride is displayed here each day; I’m happy to be a part of it.

5. How do you feel about working for a company that supports American manufacturing and jobs in aviation?

I feel proud and motivated knowing my work contributes to American jobs and manufacturing. Build, sell, and buy American products—I’m happy to be a part of it.

6. In what ways do you see Dean Baldwin Painting contributing to the American economy and the aviation industry?

The company plays a key role in creating American jobs, supporting local communities, and strengthening the aviation industry.

7. How does working for an American-owned company align with your values as a veteran?

It deeply resonates with my sense of service, patriotism, and supporting American jobs and industry. Our DBP contributions add to the nation’s GNP and economic success.

8. What makes you proud to represent Dean Baldwin Painting?

I feel proud because the company supports American jobs, strengthens the aviation industry, and serves communities. Very visible company success and community involvement in the local area, across the country, and abroad.

9. If you could share one message with the aviation community (or future employees) about why Dean Baldwin Painting’s “Made in America” identity matters, what would it be?

It matters because supporting a “Made in America” company strengthens U.S. jobs, communities, and the aviation industry. “Made in America” strengthens all facets of our country’s growth: economic, social, job creation, environmental benefits, and national security.

Bradley Stewart’s story reflects the values that continue to drive Dean Baldwin Painting—service, craftsmanship, and pride in American excellence.
