May 19, 2023

Dean Baldwin Painting, LP., one of the most respected names in aviation painting, announced today that Richard Neath has joined the organization as vice president of operations.

Mr. Neath will be a part of the senior team, where he will be leveraging his 30+ years of aviation painting experience, much of which were spent managing frontline personnel and major aircraft painting programs, to provide administrative direction and control over operational activities to ensure company objectives and customer needs are met at each of the Dean Baldwin Painting repair stations. Mr. Neath comes to Dean Baldwin Painting from Mankeiwicz Coatings, where he managed the MRO and airline paint coatings accounts. Neath began his career in automotive. He crossed over to aviation in 1991, when he joined Delta Airlines. For the next 18 years, Neath held progressively advancing positions within the airline, where he gained a variety of experience ranging from aircraft coating removal and refinish to managing painting teams and later developing paint processes and workflows utilizing Six Sigma principles. Neath also spent three years with Akzo Nobel Aerospace, where he managed MRO and airline accounts, including the American Airlines rebranding effort from concept through implementation. Mr. Neath has a strong foundation in CFRs, including OSHA, EPA, EPD, and NESHAP. “We are extremely fortunate to be able to add such an experienced professional to our leadership team,” says Karl Anderson, COO of Dean Baldwin Painting. “It’s important we maintain our high quality and customer focus as the company continues to expand. Rich is the right person at the right time.”
