Dean Baldwin Painting, LP. has been painting aircraft for over 50 years. The recent arrival of the B747 marks the first time the company has painted an aircraft this large at its own facility.
Dean Baldwin Painting opened its newest paint facility in March 2013 in Peru, Indiana, touting the capability to paint aircraft as large as the B747-8. Since its opening, the company has painted 22 of the very large A330 and B777 aircraft. However, this is the first B747 at the Baldwin facility. One more 747 is scheduled in September with more to follow in 2017. Another exciting “first” for Dean Baldwin Painting Company.
