Dean Baldwin Painting, LP. announced today that Rick Smith has joined the organization as vice president of business development. Mr. Smith assumes responsibility for the market and sales activities and will be responsible for the continued growth of the company.
Mr. Smith brings over 20 years of management and business development experienced to Dean Baldwin Painting. He most recently worked for MECAER America Inc., Montreal, Canada, in charge of program management and customer service. Prior to joining MECAER America, Mr. Smith was vice president of marketing and sales for Empire Aero Center, New York. Mr. Smith also worked as director of maintenance and modification sales for Pemco World Air Services – in charge of the re-branding and worldwide sales of its passenger to freighter conversion programs.

In 1999, Dean Baldwin Painting, LP. expanded its operation and acquired a 165,000-square-foot aircraft strip and refinish facility in Roswell, N.M. The facility has six independent temperature-controlled bays with air filtration systems utilizing two independent integral waste management systems.
